1- PAPAYA PUMPKIN MASK
2/3 cup fresh mashed papaya
15 oz. can pure pumpkin
1 egg, beaten
Cut the papaya in half and scoop out the seeds. Mash it well. Beat the egg until it is frothy. Combine with the papaya. Add the pumpkin to the mixture and whip together. You can also mix the ingredients in the blender or a food processor for an extra smooth mask.
Apply the mask over your entire face, avoiding the immediate eye area. You'll feel some tingling as the enzymes in the pumpkin go to work immediately -- gently exfoliating your top layer of skin. It works like a scrub without being abrasive to your skin. Leave the mask on for 10 minutes. Rinse with warm water.
2- MOISTURIZING HONEY MASK:
Mix 2 tbs honey and 2 tsp milk or cream. Smooth on face and allow to remain for 10 minutes, then rinse.
3- OATMEAL FACE MASK:
1/2 cup of oatmeal
1 smashed avocado
1/3 cup of honey
In a bowl mix smashed avocado with the honey, then continuously add oatmeal. When all ingredients are mixed well apply to face and leave on for 10-15 mins. Rinse.
4- CUCUMBER MINT MASK:
1 tbs instant non-fat dry milk
1/2 peeled cucumber
1 tsp plain yogurt
1 tsp fresh mint
Put all ingredients into a blender and mix well until smooth. Apply to your face being sure to avoid your eyes. Leave on for 15 to 20 mintues, then rinse. Mix a fresh batch for each use.
5- FARMER's KITCHEN SECRET MASK:
2 egg whites, chilled
1/8 tsp cornstarch
Whip the egg whites until they form peaks; then slowly add the cornstarch. Apply the mixture immediately to your face, leaving it on for 20 minutes, then rinsing it off. This is very effective for tightening the skin for a smoother face and youthful look.
